Woohoo! I got notified the other day I had won a new Banner and Avatar set for my Etsy shop, KayzKreationz from Larue Graphics on Etsy. It's one of his pre-made sets, but he's got some really great designs. In fact, he's got so many I really like, I'm having a hard time deciding on which set I really like. Since none of them will really highlight my glass, I want one that will still kind of stay with my color scheme and the fact that I like gardening, too. Some of these links are not necessarily the color I want, but I intend to ask him if he can change the color if I decide on one that's not the right color. Anyway, since I'm having such a hard time deciding, I'd like for all my readers to check out the links to the ones I'm leaning towards and leave a comment telling me which one you think I should pick and why. Well it's that time again. Another Saturday Blog Shoppers. I almost didn't participate this week as I've been so busy finishing up my volunteer work, working on 2 different mosaic projects for tutorials and getting ready for a week's vacation with my oldest son and his wife. My first sale! I've never offered a sale before, but I figured for this week I'd offer something special. I love Poinsettia's and this panel reminds me of my Poinsettia's all year round. I always get one every fall/winter. Only one has made it through the rest of the year, and it looks a little straggly. But I love my little Poinsettia. Well, it's that time again folks. The Great Saturday Blog Shoppers Event. And this week I have the honor of being the "Featured Shop". Although I haven't gotten any sales yet from it, it's been lots of fun, seeing what everyone posts and has for sale in their shops. I'm always excited when I make a sale in my Etsy shop, KayzKreationz. (I have an Artfire shop also, but no sales there yet. KayzKreationz there also.) But at the same time, I'm always a little sad. I love everything I make with my glass and always feel like a little part of me is leaving when I ship something out. But it always makes me feel good to think that someone else loved my glass enough, too, that they just couldn't live without it. So with a sad, but happy at the same time, I big a fond farewell to this adorable little suncatcher. I hope you enjoy your new home. And I hope your new owner enjoys you as much as I enjoyed making you.
